AUSA

megan1Thank you for your interest in AUSA – Aberdeen University Students’ Association and the Chief Executive role.

We are really excited for our future and the impact that our new Chief Executive can have in helping us shape our strategic direction and deliver a high quality students’ association which meets the needs of Aberdeen’s students – our members. We have many of the right ingredients to reach our vision, a supportive university, great city, small yet capable teams, vibrant and highly engaged student members, good support services and well placed facilities with major investment expected soon.

We have a clear sense of where we hope to go and what makes us unique.  Along with a new Chief Executive to help shape, lead and develop AUSA, we want to build our impact with services that are relevant, bring new opportunities to our members and represent their views.  Our members have high expectations.  We need to become more responsive to their needs, more efficient with our resources and make sure all we do makes the most of student life at Aberdeen.

We are determined to increase our impact and influence but retain what makes us special.  We want a focus on being professional and effective, without becoming corporate and losing our connection to our members.  If you want to help lead and manage an energetic, passionate member-led charity with distinct character that represents its members, is democratic, always anticipates change, delivers diverse services and has a real impact, then read more about who we are, what we do and how you can make a difference.

We hope you find the information on this site useful, exciting and intriguing.  If you can share our passion for change, we look forward to hearing more from you.

Thank you for your interest.
