Thank you for your interest in EUSA – Edinburgh University Students’ Association and the Chief Executive role.
We are really excited for our future and the impact that our new Chief Executive can have in helping us shape our strategic direction and deliver a high quality students’ association which meets the needs of Edinburgh’s students – our members. We aim to be one of the leading students’ unions in the UK. We have many of the right ingredients to succeed in our mission; a supportive university and great city, capable teams, passionate student members, highly regarded support services, great facilities and excellent commercial ventures. We also host and are closely aligned with the world renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Alongside this our close relationship and proximity to the Scottish Parliament gives us influence across higher education in Scotland and the UK. These factors, when added together, really give us the potential to be a leading Scottish charity and UK Students’ Union.
With this solid foundation and a new Chief Executive in place we hope to continue developing services which are always relevant, help students get the most from opportunities and represent their views. Our members have high expectations. We need to become more responsive to their needs and more efficient with resources as we continue to improve services to our members.
If you wish to lead and manage a large charitable organisation which is representative of its members, democratic, always anticipating change, delivers diverse services, has impact on its members, with relationships and influence at a national level, then read further about this exciting role.
